Saturday morning (outdoor) Yoga at Caversham Court Gardens28 September 2019

Reading Thames Festival brings together arts, nature and well-being in a new programme strand, inviting audiences to slow down and celebrate life’s small pleasures. Through taster sessions across yoga, kayaking and local history walks the programme invites audiences to re-engage with Reading’s tranquil spaces and waterways. All events are free of charge, but booking is essential via Eventbrite links below each session.

Each yoga session will run from 10.00 – 11.15 each day.

In the beautiful heritage setting of Caversham Court Gardens, Reading Thames Festival will host yoga sessions for all levels of expertise – you do not need to have practised yoga before, but if you are a yoga bunny the sessions are also for you! Treat yourself to a free, open air yoga session with wonderful views of the River Thames and the beautiful gardens.

Each day the session will practice a different yoga style – whilst the events are free booking is required. Some yoga mats available, but please bring your own if you have one.

Saturday 28th September
Flow and Restore – The practice is inspired by the element of water, which connects to the pelvis. The Yoga practice will focus on flowing movements that connect with the breath and help create freedom around the hips. We will slow down into some longer, restorative positions and close with a meditation for going through change. Led by Alice May Yoga.
